Here is an image we have been asked to make an analysis on from someone else's blog. When you go onto this post on their blog, there is no real explanation as to what this image means and why. This is why we are being asked to analyse it ourselves.
I personally feel this image gives a sense of sadness and happiness all at once. It's as though she is upset pushing herself up against the wall, looking deeply into the camera lens. Her hair and makeup is natural looking therefore I don't feel this is a high fashion photograph. There are shadows all around her yet sunlight is beaming onto her. To me, this photograph feels like a hope for happiness which she may have just found.
The lighting in this photograph feels like the most important part, and not the model herself. Lighting can tell a story in itself if it is used in the correct way.
